Our Managing Director has been awarded Fellowship of the Association of Project Management, their highest professional membership/qualification. This is in recognition of contribution to Programme/Project Management and level of seniority within industry since first becoming a member in 1999.

We had three great days at Cadwell Park circuit with the BMW S1000RR. We arrived on the Saturday and camped 2 nights with BBQ's held in the evening until late.

Our MD and Global Program Director has secured a Senior Director assignment for AECOM in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on a $30bn Government program.

Our Managing Director has been awarded Fellowship status of the Chartered Institute of Building. This is in recognition of 25 years within industry, 16 years at MCIOB grade and working at the highest level of seniority over numerous years.

We've secured a commission to provide a Interim Director Procurement to West Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust to source a partner to provide a new maternity unit.

Tues 2 Dec Facebook post: We have a DIY SOS major build on our hands today as we are attempting to get a new shop front put in at Thirst in Bishops Stortford. Thirst is the Youth Project that is being headed up by Nic from the Community Church. They want to have an open night on Dec 20th and so we need to rip out the interior of the shop and get it loaded on a lorry or two. We can then put in a new shop front and start to raise more funds to complete the build. South Street, Bishops Stortford.

We attended the CIOB Talk Construction conference. CIOB chief executive Chris Blythe comments: "Working in construction has never been more challenging, nor the pace of change so great. As the industry begins to climb out of one of the worst recessions on record, the pressure is on to deliver buildings that provide better value for money for both private and public sector clients that also meet tougher environmental obligations. The government’s Industrial Strategy for Construction sets out an ambitious vision for the industry in 2025: by then it should be delivering buildings at 33% less than current prices in both the initial costs and whole life cost, with project delivery times from inception to completion cut by 50%. In addition, there is to be a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions linked to the built environment, which contribute around 40% of total emissions currently". The event was held at the QEII Conference Centre in London.

We attended this years Constructing Excellence conference which focussed on government policies, procurement practices, client demands, BIM, low carbon and sustainability, and the role of construction in supporting wider economic growth. Held at The Tower Hotel, St Katherines Way, London, E1W 1LD.

We were invited to the premier of 'A Price Worth Paying?' highlighting the role of the Non-Executive Director and their obligations. The film gave a stark overview of the sort of issues, decisions and actions that NED have to take that could have profound implications for shareholders and stakeholders alike! Held at The Willis Building, 51 Lime St, London, EC3M 7DQ.
